Biography

The Prophet was brought up in the land of Arabia as an orphan and faced a great deal of poverty. Though he belonged to a sincere family of the Quraish, yet, in comparison to the honourable families, he was among the less privileged.

Syed Hasanat Ahmad Sahib of Canada passed away on 27 August 2018 at the age of 92. “To Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.” 

Sahibzada Mirza Majeed Ahmad Sahib, son of Hazrat Sahibzada Mirza Bashir Ahmad Sahib r.a., passed away on 14 August 2018 at the age of 94. “Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.”

Hazrat Ali r.a. was born ten years before the Holy Prophet s.a. was commissioned as a prophet. His father, Abdul Manaf, who was known as Abu Talib, was the leader of Banu Hashim, a clan of the Quraish tribe of Mecca. Abu Talib was the uncle of Holy Prophet s.a. and father of Hazrat Alira.

There has been much written about my father, Professor Abdus Salam, so rather than simply repeat much of that, I thought it may be interesting to narrate some of the private moments of my father for those who did not know him or meet him, may not have heard about and may give the reader more insight into the character of Abdus Salam.
