Lajna Imaillah and Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Ireland held their 15th annual ijtema on 21 September 2024, at the Maryam Mosque in Galway, attended by 86 lajna members, 24 nasirat and seven girls under the age of seven from across the country.

The proceedings commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the Lajna pledge, poem and annual report by Secretary Talim and Secretary Nasirat.

Following the opening session, the members were divided into age groups for their academic competitions. Various non-academic games were also organised between the competitions. Several interactive and informative stations were set up, such as health checkups, crochet workshops, registration for Quran classes, writing letters to Huzooraa, and information desks for IT and further education. An art competition was also held, featuring creations by nasirat based on this year’s theme, “The Attributes of Allah.” Lajna members also had the opportunity to participate in an on-the-spot art competition and a cooking contest.

The second session began with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a poem and a message from Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa that was read by my humble self. In his message, Huzooraa advised Lajna Imaillah to establish a strong relationship with Allah, strive for self-reformation and lead the future generation by setting good examples. Huzooraa emphasised on paying special attention to the upbringing of children and to pray for them to make them God-fearing and pious. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony and silent prayer.
