Majlis Ansarullah New Zealand hosted its 18th annual charity walkathon on 11 April 2026 at Barry Curtis Park in Auckland.
By approximately 9:30 am, participants had gathered and safety instructions along with guidelines for the walkathon track were given.
The event formally commenced with a silent prayer; thereafter, the walkathon officially began. Over 100 participants took part in the walk according to their pledged commitments. The participants included representatives from Blind Low Vision NZ, who actively joined the event. At the conclusion of the walkathon, lunch was served to all participants.
During the closing ceremony, the total funds raised were announced and a representative from Blind Low Vision NZ shared a few words of appreciation. The event concluded with brief remarks and a silent prayer.
