A blessed launch: Khutbat-e-Mahmood digital collection
Immediately following the Jalsa, on Monday, 28 July 2025, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa officially launched the Khutbat-e-Mahmood digital collection from his office in Islamabad.
This collection, by the grace of Allah, includes all 39 volumes of the sermons of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmadra, the second Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. These Friday, Eid, and Nikah sermons offer spiritual depth, guidance, and context relevant across generations, delivered over nearly half a century.
This collection is supported by a newly developed AI-powered search engine, allowing users to explore the sermons through Urdu script or transliteration, making it easier for those less familiar with the Urdu language typing to benefit. For example, during the launch, the term “dajjal” was searched, and relevant excerpts were displayed immediately. A detailed table of contents has also been added for ease of navigation, allowing readers to find sermons by topic, date, or volume. Thus, the vast Khutbat-e-Mahmood archive, now easily searchable, represents a treasure trove of spiritual insight, historical context, and religious wisdom, highlighting Alislam’s pioneering role in faith-based innovation.
A trust of sacred knowledge
This effort is only a small part of Alislam’s broader digital library, which now hosts over 1,500 books in English, Urdu, and Arabic. Among these are the original works of the Promised Messiahas, writings and addresses of the Khulafa, and other scholarly contributions.
We pray that Allah continues to accept this humble service, forgive any shortcomings, and enable us to improve in sincerity and effectiveness under the divine guidance of Khilafat.
