Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya USA held its 32nd Majlis-e-Shura from 21-23 August 2026 at the Baitur Rahman Mosque, Maryland. Delegates from all over the country convened to provide their recommendations on the Shura proposals.
The formal proceedings commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the Khuddam Pledge and an address by Abdullah Dibba Sahib, Sadr Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya USA. The Shura proposals were then presented by my humble self, followed by the budget presentation by Zubair Ali Sahib, Mohtamim Maal. After that, an overview of Shura procedures and etiquette was presented by Mahmood Kauser Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis.
The formation of subcommittees started after this presentation. Two subcommittees were formed to discuss the two proposals. All subcommittees had around 25 members each. The first session adjourned at 5:15 pm and the subcommittees went to their respective locations for deliberations shortly after.
For non-subcommittee members, two sessions were organised in parallel. The first session was with Abdul Naseer MK, Naib Sadr Majlis, on the topic of the Holy Quran. The second session was led by Syed Shamshad Ahmad Nasir Sahib, who narrated inspiring incidents from the lives of the Companions of the Promised Messiah (as). The subcommittees took a break for Maghrib and Isha prayers and dinner and resumed their deliberations at 9:30 pm, which went late into the night.
The first session for the second day started at 10 am with a recitation from the Holy Quran. The Sadr Majlis invited Ibrahim Chaudhry Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis, to the stage for assistance. My humble self then read out the received proposals which were not accepted to be presented this year, along with a brief explanation. This was followed by the presentation of the Maal subcommittee recommendations by the Chairman, Ahmed Mustafa Malik Sahib. Sadr Majlis then invited Shura delegates who wished to express their views to present their names. These delegates were called one by one to share their views and comments. Shura delegates voted to approve the finalised recommendations. The first session concluded around 1:30 pm with a break for Zuhr and Asr prayers and lunch.
The second session of the second day started at 4 pm with silent prayer. The Sadr Majlis invited Ashfaq Khan Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis, to the stage for assistance. The Mohtamimeen and Mu‘avinin Sadr presented the annual progress reports of their respective departments. The second session concluded at 8:15 pm, followed by Maghrib and Isha prayers. A special sit-down dinner was organised in the honour of Shura delegates. After dinner, a brief programme was organised to recognise the office holders who are joining Majlis Ansarullah next year. They were presented with a token of appreciation, after which they shared faith-inspiring experiences from their time of service in Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.
The final session on the last day of Shura started at 10 am with a recitation from the Holy Quran. The Sadr Majlis invited Abdul Naseer Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis, to the stage for assistance. Zeeshan Ahmad Sahib, chairman of the Talim subcommittee, presented the recommendations, followed by discussion, the procedure for amendments and voting on the finalised set of recommendations. Majlis-e-Shura concluded at 1:20 pm with concluding remarks and silent prayer led by Sadr Majlis.
This year, a total of 277 delegates participated in Majlis-e-Shura.
