The 40th national ijtema of Lajna Imaillah and Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Australia was held at the Baitul Huda Mosque in Sydney, on 8-11 May 2026, with the theme “Love of Allah”.
The ijtema encompassed various academic competitions and insightful educational sessions. A dedicated Lajna Hub hosted presentations and discussions on “Healthy Ageing”, “Understanding and developing trust in Allah”, “Spiritual Readiness for Marriage” and “Raising Divinely anchored children in a Digital World.”
Meanwhile, the “Nasirat Hub” offered hands-on activities such as cap and tote bag painting. The nasirat also had the opportunity to learn about meaningful topics, including the role of angels in our lives, good friendships and healthy habits for the mind and body.
Attendees participated in sports competitions, fostering teamwork and sisterhood, and enjoyed browsing the Sanat-o-Dastkari, bookstalls and food stalls during breaks.
The ijtema concluded with an awards ceremony, recognising the achievements of participants. A total of 1050 members attended the ijtema.
