The 42nd National Ijtema of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Kenya and 13th Ijtema of Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya Kenya were held on 14-16 August 2026 in Nairobi, under the theme “Khilafat: The Key to Lasting Peace.” A total of 483 participants attended, representing 16 regions and majalis nationwide.
After the Jumuah and Asr prayers, members had lunch and thereafter, they gathered in the mosque to watch the Live Friday Sermon of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa).
After the flag hoisting ceremony and silent prayer, all members proceeded to the Ahmadiyya Hall for the opening session, which began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the MKA Pledge, a Swahili poem and the opening address by Sadr MKA Kenya. The highlight of the Ijtema was the special message from beloved Huzoor (aa). Sadr Sahib led a silent prayer and the session ended.
After this, academic competitions were held, followed by the Maghrib and Isha prayers.
The next day started with the Tahajjud and Fajr prayers, followed by Dars-ul-Quran. After breakfast, preliminary sports events were held. The first session of sports went on until the Zuhr and Asr prayers, followed by lunch. Then commenced the second session of sports, continuing until the Maghrib and Isha prayers. A Rishta Nata session was organised till dinner was served.
Just like the previous day, the members woke up for Tahajjud, Fajr and Dars-ul-Quran. After breakfast, all members were involved in various activities. Having finished both sports and academic competitions, all members gathered in the Ahmadiyya Hall for the closing of the Ijtema. The session was chaired by Amir and Missionary-In-Charge Jamaat Kenya, Nasir Mehmood Tahir Sahib. The session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the MKA Pledge, a Swahili poem and the Annual Report by the Sadr Majlis. After the awards session, Amir Sahib closed the Ijtema with his concluding remarks.
