عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلّى اللّٰه عليه وسلّم قَالَ: لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللّٰه الْخَلْقَ كَتَبَ فِي كِتَابِهِ ـ هُوَ يَكْتُبُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ، وَهْوَ وَضْعٌ عِنْدَهُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي تَغْلِبُ غَضَبِي
Hazrat Abu Hurairahra narrated, that the Holy Prophetsa said, “When Allah created the creation, He inscribed in His Book, making it binding upon Himself – and this record is kept with Him upon the Throne – ‘Indeed, My Mercy prevails over My Wrath.’”
