Five characteristics of the fitrah

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رِوَايَةً: الْفِطْرَةُ خَمْسٌ ـ أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ ـ الْخِتَانُ، وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ، وَتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ.‏

Hazrat Abu Hurairah^ra narrated [that Allah’s Messenger^sa said], “Five things are part of the natural disposition [fitrah]: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, removing the hair under the armpits, clipping the nails, and trimming the moustache.”
