Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Jamaica once again opened the doors of the Mahdi Mosque in Old Harbour, as the mosque hosted its Fourth Health Fair in August 2026.
Events like this give members of the community a chance to see professionals such as dentists, doctors and nurses for preventative measures or health concerns that need to be addressed but may otherwise be unaffordable.

The event was organised by the Providence Benevolent Society and began with an opening prayer led by Tariq Azeem Sahib, President of Jamaat Jamaica. He also welcomed everyone to the Mahdi Mosque and highlighted the importance of service in Islam.
The event offered a range of essential healthcare services, with more than 200 people benefiting from free consultations and services provided by doctors, dentists and other health professionals. Educational booths also provided visitors with information on healthy living and disease prevention.
The Jamaat supported the event by providing the venue and assisting with preparations and setup. Khuddam also helped throughout the day to facilitate the programme and ensure its smooth running. Through programmes such as this, our Jamaat remains committed to serving humanity.
