A leading website Lankaweb.com, having 25000 views, published a news article on 15 May 2021, titled “World Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Speaks Up for the Rights of the Palestinian People During Eid Sermon”
This particular sermon by Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa was sent to Honourable Mahinda Rajapaksa, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
During his Presidency, Honourable Mahinda Rajapaksa has been awarded the “Palestinian Star” – the highest honour the Palestinian Government awards a person, for his efforts to maintain long term cooperation between the two countries.
The text of this sermon was also sent to Honourable Kehliya Rambukwella, Minister of Mass Media, Honourable Ali Sabry, Minister of Justice and some other active Parliamentarians.
