Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Philippines held Jalsa Yaum-e-Masih-e-Maud (as) on 29 March 2026, across various jamaats. Owing to the ongoing fuel crisis, the Jalsa was held online this year, enabling wider participation from members across the country who were able to benefit collectively from its blessings.
Approximately 350 members participated in the Jalsa. Members from Manila joined the proceedings from their homes, while in Zamboanga, Simunul, Mapun and Sigangang, members gathered in mosques to participate in the programme. However, a few jamaats located in the most remote island areas were unable to join the proceedings due to the absence of electricity and internet facilities at present. In addition, owing to the fuel crisis, travel from these areas was also not possible this year.
The programme commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an Arabic qasida and a speech by my humble self. I explained the significance and purpose of holding Jalsa Yaum-e-Masih-e-Maud (as), highlighted some signs of the truthfulness of the Promised Messiah (as) and shared faith-inspiring incidents demonstrating the Promised Messiah’s (as) love for humanity, brotherhood and hospitality. The speech was translated into the Sama and Sinama languages as well. The Jalsa concluded with a silent prayer led by Felan Heding Sahib, a mu‘allim.
