Majlis Ansarullah Scotland holds its annual ijtema 2026

Majlis Ansarullah Scotland held its regional annual ijtema on 10 May 2026. The theme of the ijtema was “Durood & Istighfar”.

After registration and breakfast at 10 am, the opening session commenced, chaired by Dr Abdul Hayee Sahib, Regional Amir of Scotland. Following the recitation from the Holy Quran, the Ansar Pledge and poem, Fakhar Ahmad Aftab Sahib delivered a speech on the theme of the ijtema. The opening session concluded with a silent prayer, followed by a brief presentation from the Rishta Nata Department.

This was followed by the academic competitions. After lunch and the Zuhr and Asr prayers, Ahmad Owusu Konadu Sahib, Chairman of Beacon of Peace Scotland, talked about the upcoming charity walk to be held in Edinburgh.Raja Burhan Ahmad Sahib, Qaid Ishaat Majlis Ansarullah UK and representative of Sadr Majlis Ansarullah UK, chaired the closing session. The session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a poem, the Ansar Pledge and the ijtema report by the Nazim-e-A‘la Ijtema, Ahmad Owusu Konadu Sahib. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony and the concluding speech by the chairman of the session. The ijtema concluded with a silent prayer. The total attendance was 92.
