No prayer without Surah al-Fatihah

عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم: لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ‏

‘Ubada bin as-Samit reported from Allah’s Messenger^sa, “He who does not recite Fatiha-tul-Kitab is not credited with having observed the prayer.”
