The angels recording attendance on Friday prayer

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ، يَكْتُبُونَ الأَوَّلَ فَالأَوَّلَ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الإِمَامُ طَوَوُا الصُّحُفَ وَجَاءُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْرَ.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah^ra narrated, “The Prophet^sa said, ‘When Friday arrives, the angels stand at every door of the mosque, writing down [those who arrive] first, then those after them in order. When the imam sits [to begin the sermon], they fold up their scrolls and come to listen to the remembrance.”
