Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya UK and Tabligh Department of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya UK are hosting a unique and exciting event for boys aged 12-15 titled “National Atfal Camp” which will take place on 10-11 May 2025 at the Baitul Futuh Mosque Complex.
The deadline to register is much sooner, on 31 March 2025. So read on to find out more about the event and make sure to register before the deadline.
What’s it all about?
“The National Atfal Camp” will be a series of Olympic-style team competitions in three major categories: academics, sports and extracurricular challenges.
Atfal will take part in their regional teams in an attempt to be crowned the champions. The set-up of the event will feature a league-based point system. A win in each competition brings the teams a step closer to taking the coveted trophy home. A live leaderboard will be displayed around the event to keep track of where everyone is.
Each region will have its own custom team kit to instil a sense of brotherhood and positive competition between atfal.
The activities: A test of skills & strategy
Role-play challenge: Showcase your knowledge of Islamic teachings in a real-life scenario competition.
Inspirational talks: Faith-inspiring talks on challenges boys face in the modern day and their solutions.
Formula 1 pit-stop challenge: Can teams change a car tyre in record time, just like an F1 crew?
The ultimate cook-off: With set ingredients, who will be the most creative to present the ultimate dish for the panel of professional cooks?
Capture the flag: Outsmart the opposition in this strategy-based game where teamwork is everything!
Hyrox challenge: Inspired by the world-famous Hyrox fitness race, this competition will test Atfal’s endurance through a mix of running, strength and agility challenges.
