The supplication of a Muslim is answered

عَنْ أَبِیْ هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِىَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

  مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَسْتَجِيْبَ اللهُ لَهُ عِنْدَ الشَّدَائِدِ وَالْكُرَبِ فَلْيُكْثِرِ الدُّعَاءَ فِى الرَّخَاءِ

Hazrat Abu Hurairah^ra narrated that the Holy Prophet^sa said:

“One who desires that Allah responds [to his prayer] during hardship and grief, should then supplicate plentifully when at ease.”
