4 September 1965: On this day, an Ahmadiyya mosque in Dayton, Ohio, USA was officially inaugurated. This mosque is the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat’s oldest purpose-built mosque in the USA. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 23, p. 48)
4 September 2015: During his Friday sermon on this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) mentioned Sahibzadi Amatul Bari Sahiba, who had passed away. She was the paternal granddaughter of the Promised Messiah (as), daughter of Hazrat Mirza Sharif Ahmad Sahib (ra), and the paternal aunt of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa). She was born in 1928 in Qadian.
Huzoor (aa) mentioned that there was a coat of the Promised Messiah (as) (other than the well-known green coat), which was inherited by Hazrat Mirza Sharif Ahmad Sahib (ra) and then by Amatul Bari Sahiba. She gifted this coat to Huzoor (aa) as a gesture of her love for Khilafat.
5 September 1903: On this day, the Promised Messiah (as) received the revelation:
كابل سے كاٹا گیا اور سیدھا ہمارى طرف آیا
[He was cut off from Kabul and came straight to us.] (Tadhkirah [English], p. 659)
5 September 1947: On this day, Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud (ra) delivered his Friday sermon in Lahore, which was historically the first-ever Friday sermon in Pakistan after the emigration from Qadian, India. (Al Fazl, 17 September 1947)
5 September 1997: During his Friday sermon on this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh) exposed the government conspiracy against the Jamaat in The Gambia. In the following few sermons, Huzoor (rh) also provided further details about it. (Khutbat-e-Tahir, Vol. 16, p. 655)
6 September 1915: Hazrat Qazi Muhammad Abdullah Bhatti (ra) departed for England with the aim of serving the mission there. When he left for England, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) provided him with some valuable advice. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 4, p. 177)
6 September 2016: On this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) inaugurated the Salam Mosque in Iserlohn, Germany. (“New Ahmadiyya Mosque opened in Iserlohn, Germany, by Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community”, www.pressahmadiyya.com)
7 September 1884: On this day, the Promised Messiah (as) wrote to Hazrat Mian Abdullah Sanauri (ra) regarding his proposed 40-day retreat for prayer and seclusion. Huzoor (as) informed him that he was still in Qadian and had not yet proceeded to Sujanpur, explaining that the journey had been delayed due to his continued ill health and that it may be possible in the winter. This intended retreat later materialised, by divine direction, in Hoshiarpur in 1886, where the Promised Messiah (as) spent 40 days in seclusion and received the grand prophecy regarding the Promised Son, Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud (ra). 7 September 1974: The National Assembly of Pakistan, through a constitutional amendment, declared Ahmadis as non-Muslims for the “purposes of the constitution and law.”
8 September 1969: On this date, the Japan mission was re-established by Major Abdul Hameed Sahib. Abdul Hameed Sahib converted to Ahmadiyyat at the age of 18, after studying Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya. He first served in the army and then dedicated his life after retiring from the army in 1960. He also served as a missionary in England and the United States. Arriving in Japan, he first stayed in a hotel and then started learning the Japanese language by enrolling in a school. He rented a house and started working. He widely distributed literature of the Jamaat. With the help of dictionaries and Japanese teachers, he published and distributed information about the second coming of the Messiah. He contacted the press and published articles in various Japanese newspapers such as The Japan Times. (Silsila Ahmadiyya, Vol. 3, p. 658)
9 September 1983: On this day, during his tour of the Far East, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh) delivered the Friday sermon in Singapore. On the same day, Huzoor (rh) also laid the foundation stone for a new mosque there. This marked a historic first, as it was the first time any Khalifatul Masih had toured that region. 9 September 2011: During his Friday sermon on this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) mentioned Nasim Ahmad Butt Sahib of Faisalabad, Pakistan, who was martyred on 4 September. His younger brother, Wasim Ahmad Butt Sahib, and paternal cousin, Naseer Ahmad Butt Sahib, were also martyred in 1994 and 2010, respectively. (Khutbat-e-Masroor, Vol. 9, pp. 460-461)
10 September 2004: During his Friday sermon on this day, delivered from Belgium, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) spoke on the reasons behind the failure of the UNO and other such organisations.
