Qamar Suleiman, Director of Software Engineering, Alislam Team

Under the divine guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa, the Alislam team continues to modernise its platforms in service of the mission entrusted to this Jamaat by the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas of Qadian. That mission is none other than the perfection of the propagation of guidance, i.e., conveying the true teachings of Islam to all corners of the earth. (Malfuzat [English], Vol. 4, p. 141)
With this sacred objective in mind, alislam.org is evolving into a comprehensive digital reference library and the foremost provider of authentic Islamic content for seekers across the world. Now, in this digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool – enhancing accessibility, speed, and engagement.
However, Huzooraa has laid down a critical guiding principle for its integration: AI must remain a servant, not the master. Anything created by AI should be verified. Technology should assist human efforts – not replace them.
To uphold this balance, the Alislam team ensures:
- Human oversight remains central to all AI-assisted processes
- Prompting is thoughtful and guided, ensuring Islamic alignment
- All AI outputs are reviewed and verified by qualified humans for authenticity
This framework lets us use cutting-edge tools while maintaining the integrity of human judgment, safeguarding the authenticity and reliability of Islamic knowledge.
Ayaat search: Voice-based Quran lookup
Launched by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa in February this year, the Ayaat Search app allows users to find Quranic verses by simply reciting a few words. The app uses AI-powered speech recognition and connects to Alislam’s Quran engine to deliver accurate results, making it especially useful for non-Arabic speakers or casual seekers of Quranic references. This service is available on iOS and Android.
AI-enhanced Quran web app
The Alislam Quran web app supports 11 languages, features multiple commentaries, and offers one of the most advanced search engines for words and phrases in the Holy Quran. A new feature, “Search Assistant,” uses AI to help users explore Quranic themes by entering questions or concepts in natural language.
This allows a more intuitive study experience and helps users discover relevant guidance across the Quran, while always rooted in verified sources.

The new digital library: Expanding knowledge with precision
A major leap forward is the launch of the new digital library, which is designed to provide global access to the vast literature of the Promised Messiahas, Khulafa, and the broader teachings of Islam Ahmadiyyat. To this end, every book in this library is readable, searchable, and for the first time, searchable by transliteration using AI, making it easier to find references even without Arabic or Urdu fluency.
Below are the latest featured collections that have been newly added to the library:
- Khutbat-e-Mahmood: All 39 volumes of Friday sermons delivered by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra
- Haqaiqul Furqan: A 6-volume treasure trove of tafsiri (exegetical) insights by Hazrat Haji al-Haramain, Maulana Nooruddin, Khalifatul Masih Ira – compiled from lessons, writings, and sermons.
These additions mark a significant step in making rare and essential content accessible to readers worldwide.
