Muhammad Akram Mehmood, Secretary Waqf-e-Nau Denmark
On 17 April 2022, Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Denmark had the opportunity to hold its annual Waqf-e-Nau Ijtema at the Nusrat Jahan Mosque in Copenhagen.
The inaugural session commenced at 11:30 am with the recitation from the Holy Quran and was chaired by Muhammad Zakaria Khan Sahib, Amir and missionary-in-charge, Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Denmark. The session was attended by waqifeen-e-nau, waqifaat-e-nau, and their parents as well.
After a tarana (choral poem), a documentary based on the introduction of the Waqf-e-Nau scheme was presented. This was followed by the inaugural address by amir sahib Jamaat Denmark. The session concluded with silent prayer.
After a short break, different academic competitions were held.
After this, Secretary Waqf-e-Nau Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Denmark presided over the concluding session of waqifeen-e-nau, while sadr Lajna Imaillah Denmark presided over the concluding session of waqifaat-e-nau.
The total attendance during the ijtema was 85.
