On 6 March 2026, a delegation of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Niger had a meeting with Mr Djibril Soumaila Karanta, President of the Islamic Association of Niger, at his residence. The delegation was led by Amir Jamaat Niger Asad Majeeb Sahib. Mr Karanta also serves as the imam of the largest government mosque in the country.
During the meeting, Amir Sahib introduced the delegation and presented a brief overview of the beliefs, objectives and peaceful mission of Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya. On this occasion, he presented Mr Karanta with a copy of the Holy Quran with a French translation, along with other literature of the Jamaat.
Referring to a recent Friday sermon of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa), Amir Sahib highlighted that many of the challenges currently faced by the Muslim world, including the situation in Iran and the Middle East, stem from the lack of unity among Muslims and their distance from God. He emphasised that in such circumstances, Muslims should strive for unity and righteousness, standing together against the forces of the Dajjal (Antichrist).
