8 May 1970: On this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (ra), during his tour of Sierra Leone, inaugurated the Nazir Ahmad Ali Mosque. On the same day, Huzoor (rh) graced a reception held in his honour by the Muslim Congress of Sierra Leone. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 26, pp. 63-64)
8 May 2005: During his tour of Africa, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) was interviewed by a Kenyan national newspaper on this day. In the next leg of the visit, Huzoor (aa)travelled to Tanzania by air. This was Huzoor’s (aa) first visit to the country. (Al Fazl International, 3 June 2005, p. 16)
9 May 2003: During his Friday sermon on this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) warned of the horrific consequences of atomic warfare.

9 May 2005: On this day, Jalsa Salana Tanzania commenced. This was the first Jalsa Salana of Tanzania Jamaat in which a Khalifatul Masih was present.
Huzoor (aa) delivered the inaugural address, inspected the printing press and presided over a children’s class. After family mulaqats, delegations from Burundi, Malawi and Zambia met with Huzoor (aa). That evening, Huzoor (aa) also attended a reception to which dignitaries of the country were invited. 10 May 1903: On this day, the Promised Messiah (as) wrote to the tehsildar of Batala, Moti Ram, presenting around fifteen points that refuted the allegations that were being made by the opponents about the construction of Minaret-ul-Masih in Qadian. (Life of Ahmad, pp. 777-781)

10 May 2013: On this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) delivered his historic Friday sermon from the Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino, California, as his first visit to the West Coast of the United States of America continued. 11 May 1948: On this day, an Ahmadi missionary, Rashid Ahmad Chughtai Sahib, met with King Abdullah I of Jordan. During the meeting, he conveyed the well-wishes and message of Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud (ra), to which the king replied positively. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 12, p. 11)
11 May 2013: Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) delivered the keynote address at a special reception held in his honour on this day at the Montage in Beverly Hills, LA. In his address, Huzoor (aa) said:
“I believe in that One God who is the Lord of all nations, all races and all religions, and so it becomes impossible that I could ever develop any hatred in my heart for any nation, any race or any religion.” (“Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Delivers Historic Address in Southern California”, www.pressahmadiyya.com, 12 May 2013)
12 May 1954: On this day, Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud’s (ra) statement was recorded at the Lalian court in connection with the assassination attempt made on him. On 12 May, the statements of 12 people were recorded, including that of Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud (ra).
On 25 May, the additional district magistrate gave a verdict and the attacker was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment. The magistrate also made some irrelevant remarks in his judgment, which were later deleted on the order of the High Court. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 16, p. 273)
12 May 1970: On this day, the then acting Governor-General of Sierra Leone hosted a reception in honour of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih III (rh), which was also attended by various dignitaries of the country, including ministers and foreign ambassadors. (Tarikh-e-Ahmadiyyat, Vol. 26, p. 67)
13 May 1927: Lahore witnessed intense unrest and communal riots. On this day, Al Fazl published a detailed account by Hazrat Musleh-e-Maud (ra). At the time, Huzoor’s (ra) contributions extended beyond the religious domain to include active engagement in social and political matters. His views, guidance and actions were taken very seriously and held considerable weight. That same day, a comprehensive tract authored by him, titled What Can You Do for Islam and Muslims?, was also widely circulated. In it, Huzoor (ra) presented 31 important points aimed at promoting unity within the Muslim Ummah. (Al Fazl Qadian, 13 May 1927, p. 1)
13 May 2006: On this day, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa) addressed the closing session of Jalsa Salana Japan. After the Jalsa, Japanese guests had the privilege of meeting Huzoor (aa). During his visit to Japan, in the evening, Huzoor (aa) presided over a meeting with the national amila of Japan. Separate meetings of Ansarullah Japan’s amila and Lajna Imaillah Japan’s amila were also held. (Al Fazl International, 30 June 2006, pp. 12-13)
14 May 1887: The Promised Messiah (as) wrote a letter to Hazrat Maulvi Abdul Karim (ra) of Sialkot. Huzoor (as) addressed him in the letter with his previous name of Mian Karim Bakhsh, which was later changed by the Promised Messiah (as) as Abdul Karim.
