Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Sri Lanka celebrated Ashra Tahrik-e-Jadid from 7 to 16 October 2022 in Colombo, Negombo, Pasyala, and Polonnaruwa.
Posters of quotations from the writings of Hazrat Musleh-e-Maudra about the importance of the Tahrik-e-Jadid scheme were prepared and sent via social media to Jamaat members.
On 9 and 16 October, Tahajjud prayers were held in all local jamaats.
The importance of Tahrik-e-Jadid was the main topic in durus held after Fajr prayer in the different jamaats.
On 16 October, events were held in Negombo and Pasyala. In Negombo, the local president, IA Asalm Sahib delivered a speech on the importance of financial sacrifices. This was followed by speeches by two missionaries. In Pasyala also, the local president and two missionaries delivered speeches on Tahrik-e-Jadid. A documentary about Tahrik-e-Jadid was shown at both events.
