Shahid Ahmed, Regional Missionary, Bondoukou
On 2 October 2022, Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Bondoukou, Ivory Coast, held its first health seminar at Bait-ul-Ahad Mosque. The seminar was attended by 28 members. Dr Anoumay was invited as a special guest from the Regional Government Hospital.
The seminar started with a recitation from the Holy Quran and its French translation, followed by a speech on the importance of health according to Islam, delivered by Ahmad Sawadogo Sahib, a mu‘allim.
Dr Anoumay explained in detail about common diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes, malaria and typhoid, and gave a dietary chart to participants which is beneficial in daily life.
A question and answer session was held at the end.
