Humanity First Germany and Jamaat Kosovo help General Hospital in Peja

During the ongoing crisis of Covid-19 in Kosovo, many different associations and organisations have helped the people of Kosovo with food products, protective and hygienic materials. Among these organisations is Humanity First, which is offering its full support and help to the poor and vulnerable people in many countries during the pandemic. They have helped the people of the city of Peja for the second time now.

Last month, Humanity First Germany, together with Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kosovo, assisted the Kosovo Police in the Peja region, with protective materials against coronavirus.

On 11 June 2020, Humanity First Germany, along with the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kosovo donated protective equipment to the staff of the General Hospital in Peja. This donation includes, 2,000 pairs of gloves, 250 surgical masks, 300 hand sanitisers, 250 bottles of alcohol, 40 litres of medical floor detergent and 20 surgical gowns.

During the donation ceremony, the management staff of the hospital, representative of Humanity First, representative of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Kosovo and volunteers were present.

On behalf of the General Hospital in Peja, the Medical Director, Dr Muhamet Haliti thanked for this donation and said:

“Each donation and gratitude are additional motives for the staff of the General Hospital in Peja. Thank you Humanity First and I hope our cooperation will be long lasting.”

In the end, the two sides exchanged gratitude with each other.

In April of this year, Humanity First also assisted the medical staff of the regional hospital and the main family medicine centre of Gjilan Municipality with the basic and much needed equipments.

The official Facebook page of the General Hospital Peja thanked Humanity First for this valuable donation. This successful project was also accompanied by a huge media coverage. 12 newspapers have published articles about this donation on their websites and social networks. Around a million people followed this donation, alhamdulillah.
