Khilafat Day 2021 events in USA

Ijaz Ahmed Khokhar Sahib, President Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Fitchburg, USA, reports that Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Fitchburg held Khilafat Day event at Masjid Bait-ul-Zikr on 22 May 2021. All social distancing guidelines were strictly followed. The session was also streamed through Zoom for members who were unable to attend. About 20 people attended in person and more than 15 attended through Zoom.

The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a Hadith and an Urdu poem about Khilafat.

In the opening address, the local president presented examples of the wisdom and guidance from Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa that brings benefit to our daily lives. A few prime examples were presented including Huzoor’s guidance on the use of social media, Fortnite, and bitcoin.

After this, a summary of Huzoor’s Friday Sermon of 14 January 2017 was presented, in which he had guided members on self-reformation resolve and faith.

Next, local qaid Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, spoke about Huzoor’s blessed guidance throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and how it has benefitted members of the Jamaat.

This was followed by a speech on obedience to Khilafat and the Nizaam-e-Jamaat by the local General Secretary, Masood Ashraf Sahib.

The members then participated in an interactive online quiz about Khilafat.

The meeting concluded with announcements and a request for prayers for Palestine.

Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Harrisburg

Iman Qureshi Sahiba, Secretary Ishaat, Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Harrisburg reports that on 27 May 2021, the Nasirat of Harrisburg Jamaat celebrated Khilafat Day on Zoom. There were a total of 30 participants including Lajna members whose support was much appreciated by the Nasirat.

The programme started with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a hadith and a poem.

As part of the proceedings, Laiba Sarfaraz Sahiba shared an informative presentation on the importance of Khilafat Day and the significance behind it.

As a fun activity and to get all the Nasirat engaged, a Kahoot quiz was led by Rameen Khan Sahiba and this was enjoyed by the Nasirat and helped our understanding of this topic.

Then, Tahaani Khan Sahiba and Iman Qureshi Sahiba shared the impact of Khilafat on their daily lives and how following Huzoor’s guidance given in Friday Sermons helps them navigate modern society and be closer to Allah.

Next, the younger Nasirat aged 7-9, Tanzeela Khan, Zara Qureshi, Afia Munir, Zoya Bhatti, Zinnia Ahmad and Leila Sharif all shared their love for Huzooraa, their experiences with meeting him and the kindness and attention he showed them.

I pray that this may help the Nasirat remember the importance of Khilafat in our daily lives and help us realise and fulfil our responsibilities. Amin.
