On 4 August 2021, the inauguration of Madrasatul-Hifz Benin took place. Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa had granted the approval for the establishment of Madrasatul-Hifz in Benin on 20 November 2020.

Previously, the students would go to Nigeria to memorise the Holy Quran.

The inaugural ceremony was presided by Qamar Ahmad Sahib, Amir and Missionary-in-Charge Benin.

The ceremony commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran and its French translation, followed by an Arabic qaseedah of the Promised Messiahas.

After this, Hafiz Fazlullah Sahib, a teacher of Madrasatul-Hifz presented the report and the plans of the new Quran learning institution. He said that the first class would consist of 13 students from five regions of the country.

Then, some guests had the opportunity to deliver short speeches and express their thoughts.

At the end, Amir Jamaat Benin delivered the concluding address, and led everyone in silent prayer.

For the time being, there is no separate building for Madrasatul-Hifz, but its arrangements have been made in the Mahdi Mosque and the Ahmadiyya Mission House of Porto-Novo.
