Waseem Ahmed Sheikh, Qaid Amoomi, Majlis Ansarullah Belgium
The 24th Majlis-e-Shura of Majlis Ansarullah Belgium took place on Sunday, 17 November 2019 at Baitus-Salam, Dilbeek.
The Shura commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. A welcome address was then delivered by Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Belgium, NA Shamim Ahmad Sahib. He focused attention on the importance of Shura and the responsibilities of the Shura members.
Thereafter, Amir Jamaat Ahmadiyya Belgium, Dr Idrees Ahmad Sahib highlighted the responsibilities of Ansar.
Thereafter, the implementation report for last year’s Shura proposal was presented by Qaid Tarbiyat, Naeem Ahmad Shaheen Sahib. Secretary Shura, Waseem Ahmed Sheikh Sahib presented the agenda of the Shura which was approved by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa.
The department of finances proposed the budget for 2020 presented and this was presented by Qaid Mal, Abdul Basit Sahib. Then, two sub-committees were formed to discuss each of these proposals. Later, the plenary session commenced with sub-committees presenting their reports and the Majlis-e-Shura then deliberating. The recommendations of the subcommittees and any amendments thereon that constituted the final recommendations were formally agreed for submission to Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa for his approval and guidance.
At the end, Missionary-in-Charge, Hafiz Ehsan Secunder Sahib, Markaz Representative organised the election of Sadr Majlis and Naib Sadr Saf-e-Dom. Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Belgium then delivered his closing remarks. He pointed out to all Zuama (sing. Zaeem) the Majlis’ targets of the year. There were 50 representatives of Shura. Eight Ansar also got the chance to participate as observers.
