42 members of the national amila and qaideen assembled in the Khilafat Hall, Baitul Huda Mosque, Sydney.

The mulaqat commenced with a silent prayer, after which the amila members and qaideen introduced themselves and their respective roles. Each department had the opportunity to present their reports. Huzooraa enquired about plans, targets and achievements of every department within Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Australia, whilst also providing valuable advice on direction and implementation.

Furthermore, the amila members and qaideen were fortunate to ask Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa various questions and seek guidance and direction on an array of matters.

Addressing the mohtamim tarbiyat, Hazrat Khalifatul Masihaa paid great focus and emphasis on encouraging khuddam to become regular in reciting the Holy Quran and offering Salat in congregation.

Huzooraa further enquired about what was being done with regard to other tarbiyat matters and to what effect the measures taken had been successful.

Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa added, “If man offers Salat for the sake of God alone, then many vices and societal ills can be averted.”

Huzooraa further emphasised that all khuddam should know very well what Allah the Almighty wants and desires from us.

Huzooraa further mentioned, “All amila members should demonstrate and exhibit a high moral standard.”

Whilst offering guidance to the mohtamim mal (finance), Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa stated that all khuddam should be aware of the importance of financial sacrifice and that it should be clear that chanda and financial sacrifice is solely to earn God’s pleasure.

Following this, addressing the mohtamim Atfal, Huzooraa enquired as to how many Atfal were active and further stated that, on occasions, when Atfal reach the age of 14-15, they tend to take a backseat and distance themselves and become inactive. Thus, Huzooraa stated, special and close attention should be paid with regard to the Atfal’s tarbiyat and further added that in this day and age, it is important to explain to the Atfal the vices of society so that they are aware and clear on what is good and what is bad in accordance with and in light of the Islamic Shariah.

Whilst talking to the mohtamim ishaat (publications), Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa asked if there was any magazine for Khuddam in Australia and stated that work should be done in initiating a magazine for Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya on quarterly basis, wherein articles on the true teachings of Islam, common questions and articles on contemporary issues should be published to strengthen the relationship and bond between the youth and the Jamaat.

Following this, Huzooraa enquired from the mohtamim nau mubai‘een (new converts) about the new converts and about the plans and efforts that were being conducted to absorb them into the system of the Jamaat.

Huzooraa, whilst guiding the mohtamim nau mubai‘een, stated that it is essential to remain in contact and establish a unique bond with them.

One amila member – whilst informing Huzooraa of a new school curriculum that recently started in some schools in Australia in which they teach Islam – stated that some points that are taught in this subject are not in line with the teachings of the Jamaat. He asked if parents should continue to send their children to such classes.

Huzooraa stated that the school should be informed that only those points should be taught that are collectively agreed upon by all Muslims and which are in accordance with the Holy Quran and practice of the Holy Prophetsa.

Hazrat Khalifatul Masihaa added that controversial issues should not be discussed in these lessons. One person, whilst discussing the love God has instilled in the hearts of human beings for children, asked Huzooraa how one could inculcate within them the same level or even greater level of love for Allah and the Holy Prophetsa.

Answering this, Huzooraa stated, “This depends on the individual’s efforts.” Huzooraa added that one should fervently pray to God for this to become achievable.

Huzooraa then went on to narrate an incident of Hazrat Alira and his son, in which his son asked Hazrat Alira if he loved him, to which Hazrat Alira replied in the affirmative. Then he asked if he loved God, to which he again replied in the affirmative. He then asked how it was possible to love both at once. Upon this, Hazrat Alira replied that the level of love for both is different and that, to him, after God’s love, everything is secondary.

Before the mulaqat concluded, one person stated and expressed to Huzooraa that he was a waqif-e-zindagi and asked Huzooraa for advice that could help him in life and in his waqf. Upon this, Huzooraa quoted the following couplets of the Promised Messiahas:

بدتر بنو ہر ایک سے اپنے خیال میں

(Consider yourself lower than everyone else.)

میں تھا غریب و بے کس و گمنام و بے ہنر

(I was poor, helpless and without any skill.)

Huzooraa also mentioned a revelation of the Promised Messiahas:

تیری عاجزانہ راہیں اُس کو پسند آئیں

(He is pleased with your humble ways.)

Huzooraa further said, “Offer the five daily prayers and fear Allah.” Huzooraa added, “Show humility, exhibit good morals and fulfil the rights of God and His creation.”
