أَبُوْ ھُرَیْرَۃَ۔رضی اللہ عنہ۔ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللہِ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم یَقُولُ لِرَمَضَانَ
مَنْ قَامَہُ اِیْمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَلَہُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِہِ
Hazrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“Whoever prayed at night in it [the month of Ramadan] out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all their previous sins will be forgiven.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Kitab al-Salat Tarawih, Hadith 2008)
