It was narrated by Hazrat Abu Musara that, “The sun eclipsed and the Prophetsa got up, being afraid that it might be the Hour [i.e., Day of Judgment]. He went to the Mosque and offered the prayer with the longest standing [qiyam], bowing [ruku‘] and prostration [sajdah] that I had ever seen him doing. Then he said, ‘These signs that Allah sends are not due to the death or life of anyone, but Allah uses them to instil fear in His servants. Therefore, when you witness such events, hasten to remember Allah, invoke Him, and seek His forgiveness.’”
