Supplication is the essence of worship

عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِکٍ، عَنِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ

قَالَ الدُّعَاءُ الْمُخُّ الْعِبَادَۃِ

Hazrat Anas bin Malik^ra narrates that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

‘‘Supplication is the essence of worship.’’
