The vastness of Allah’s mercy

عَنْ أَبِیْ هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللہُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ

لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا عِنْدَ اللہِ مِنَ الْعُقُوْبَةِ مَا طَمِعَ فِی الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْكَافِرُ مَا عِنْدَ اللہِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ مَا قَنَطَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ

Hazrat Abu Hurairah^ra narrates that the Holy Prophet^sa said:

“If the believer knew what is with Allah in terms of punishment, none would hope for Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what is with Allah of mercy, none would despair of attaining Paradise.”
