“Refrain from creating discord; abstain from evil. Exercise patience when faced with insults. Avoid confrontations. If someone challenges you, respond with kindness and good conduct. Exhibit an excellent model of gentle speech. Obey every command wholeheartedly, so that Allah the Almighty may be pleased, and even your adversaries may recognise that you have transformed after pledging your allegiance [bai‘at]. Give truthful testimony in legal matters. Those who join this Jamaat must adhere to truthfulness with all their heart, resolute commitment, and absolute dedication. The world is drawing close to its end.”
