In accordance with the instructions of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa, the Central Waqf-e-Nau Department London held its Info & Help desk at Jalsa Salana UK from 3 to 5 August and at Jalsa Salana Germany from 7 to 9 September 2018.
The main purpose behind this was to present an opportunity to both the Waqifeen-e-Nau and their parents to have their questions answered and to establish their link with the department. There was also a chance to update their particulars if needed.
Those Waqifeen-e-Nau who were of the age of re-dedicating themselves were able to do so. They were able to update their career status and receive career planning advice. Banners were put up providing general information of the Waqf-e-Nau scheme. The newly published syllabus for the 1-21 age-group and various other publications of the department were also displayed for Waqifeen-e-Nau.
A documentary was played on the background of Tahrik Waqf-e-Nau and the purpose of its establishment which was enjoyed by many. One of the highlights of this Info & Help desk was the media section where Waqifeen-e-Nau gave interviews reflecting themselves as being Waqifeen in today’s society and how they can become ‘Special’ Waqf-e-Nau as per the guidance of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa in his Friday Sermon of 28 October 2016. Free merchandise was also available for Waqifeen-e-Nau.
