On 12 December 2021, Majlis Ansarullah Canada held its 2nd National Virtual Talimi Rally.
This year, the annual national Ijtema of Majlis Ansarullah Canada could not be held due to the pandemic. Therefore, as per the guidance of Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Canada, the Talim department held academic competitions virtually across Canada, at local and regional levels.
Due to the virtual nature of the event and considering potential challenges that some ansar may face for not being tech-savvy, a virtual practice run was organised a day before the main event. The key objective of the practice session was to ascertain that all the participants were aware of the flow of the programme, knew their virtual rooms and met the technical requirements to connect and present without any issues.
The practice session served the purpose, the main event went smooth and both the participants and audience had a great experience.
The rally began with the opening ceremony at 11 am Eastern Time with the recitation from the Holy Quran with Urdu and English translations.
Abdul Hameed Warraich Sahib, Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Canada, then inaugurated the event. In his opening speech, Sadr Sahib presented various quotations of the Promised Messiahas in regard to the purpose for his advent.
The opening session was moderated by Nasir Mahmood Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Canada.
Academic competitions followed the opening session. Winners of the competitions at the regional levels competed for national positions.
In the interest of time and for the convenience of participants, these competitions were organised in four virtual rooms. Each virtual room was supervised by a dedicated moderator and IT support team member.
While only the moderators, judges and participants could enter these virtual rooms, the audience was provided with a live streaming link on YouTube.
Ansar from across Canada were able to watch the proceeding of the virtual rally using this link. There were approximately 1,400 viewers on YouTube and 4000 clicks for the rally.
All the competitions started and finished in time.
The chief guest of the concluding ceremony was Chaudhary Hadi Ali Sahib, missionary and Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Canada. The ceremony commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran with English and Urdu translations, followed by a poem in Urdu from Durr-e-Sameen, with English translation.
After this, the results of the competitions were announced. Nasir Mahmood Sahib, Naib Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Canada and moderator of the concluding ceremony announced the results.

The concluding speech was delivered by Chaudhary Hadi Ali Sahib, Naib Amir Jamaat Canada. He called on the Ansar brothers to inculcate the habit among themselves to read the books of the Promised Messiahas and mentioned the importance of reading books of the Promised Messiahas.
After the concluding speech, all participants, including the online viewers, repeated the Ansar pledge.
Finally, Naib Amir Sahib led the silent prayer and thus brought the second National Virtual Talim Rally to an end.
