Hazrat Abdullah (bin Mas‘udra) narrated that [the Holy Prophetsa said], “No one has a greater sense of honour [ghayrah] than Allah, which is why He has forbidden foul deeds, whether open or secret. And nothing is more beloved to Him than praise, which is why He has praised Himself.”
