Lajna Imaillah Quebec, Canada, held an interfaith symposium on 27 October 2024.
The opening session started with the recitation from the Holy Quran with its French translation and was presided over by Regional Sadr Lajna Imaillah Quebec, Aneela Omer Sahiba. An introduction to the Jamaat was presented by the moderator, Salmana Janjua Sahiba. The speakers included Dieneba Drame Sahiba from Islam Ahmadiyyat, Bavneet Kaur from Sikhism, Isabelle Laurin from Universal Peace, and Adriana Roledo from Christianity. The concluding remarks were given by Sadr Lajna Imaillah Quebec.
An exhibition was also set up where copies of the Holy Quran with translations in various languages, and various books of the Jamaat were on display. “Hijabi Corner” and “Tabligh Booth” proved popular destinations for attendees. The total attendance was 107, with 30 non-Ahmadi guests.
