Majlis Ansarullah Emery Village got the opportunity to help and share the bounties of Allah the Almighty with less deserving people. Feeling inspired by the month of sacrifice, the Amila members of Majlis Ansarullah Emery Village collected $420 from among themselves for charity. This money was used to purchase daily usage items and donated to a local charity, “Youth Without Shelter” (YWS).

YWS is a charity offering shelter and support for youth facing homelessness in the GTA. Since their founding in 1986, they have been providing client-focused services in a non-judgmental environment for youth aged 16-24.

Four amila members spent two and a half hours purchasing and delivering items to the shelter home.
