Zahid Ahmad Bhatti, Missionary, Guinea-Bissau
Majlis Ansarullah Guinea-Bissau held its annual ijtema on 6 and 7 May 2023, which was attended by more than 100 members. Both days began with congregational Tahajjud and Fajr prayers, followed by Dars-ul-Quran and then everyone had breakfast.
The first session commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by an Arabic qasidah and an Urdu poem, and was presided over by Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Guinea-Bissau. After this, various speeches were delivered.
The ijtema included various academic and sports competitions.
The concluding session started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After the prize distribution, Muhammad Ahsan Memon Sahib, amir and missionary-in-charge Guinea-Bissau addressed the attendees on the topic of Khilafat in light of various excerpts from the discourse of the Promised Messiahas and his Khulafa.
