Promised Messiah (as): Your Imam from among you

عَنْ اَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا نَزَلَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ فِيكُمْ وَإِمَامُكُمْ مِنْكُمْ‏‏‏

It was narrated by Hazrat Abu Hurairah^ra that Allah’s Messenger^sa said, “How will you fare when the son of Mary descends among you and he will be your Imam from among you?”
