Waqf-e-Nau ijtema held in Benin

Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Benin held its Waqf-e-Nau ijtema on 24-25 August 2024.

The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a poem and speeches by Mian Qamar Ahmad Sahib, Missionary-in-Charge, and Raoufou Maliki Sahib, Naib Amir Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Benin. The session concluded with a silent prayer.

The members then attentively watched Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V’saa live address delivered at the Lajna session of the Jalsa Salana Germany 2024. Subsequently, academic competitions were held. After the Zuhr and Asr prayers and lunch, the afternoon session began with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a poem and a speech by Luqman Daouda Sahib. Following the conclusion of this session, sports competitions were held.

After the Maghrib and Isha prayers and dinner, an exam on the Waqf-e-Nau syllabus was conducted.

The second day of the ijtema began with congregational Tahajjud prayer, followed by Fajr prayer and a dars. Later, with the assistance of Humanity First doctors, a medical examination of all Waqf-e-Nau members was conducted by Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Sahib.

The closing session began at 10:50am, presided over by Amir Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Benin, with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a poem and ijtema report by myself as the Secretary Waqf-e-Nau of Jamaat Benin. Amir Sahib then distributed prizes to the members who excelled in various competitions.

In his concluding speech, Amir Sahib recounted the history of the establishment of Tahrik-e-Waqf-e-Nau and advised all members to become devoted servants of Allah by fulfilling their vow of waqf. The ijtema concluded with a silent prayer.
