Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Germany is holding its annual ijtema at the Festplatz am Ratsweg in Frankfurt on 19-21 May 2023. Earlier today, a special video message from Hazrat Amirul Momineen, Khalifatul Masih Vaa, was presented before the khuddam and also broadcast globally on MTA International.

Huzooraa, after reciting the tashahud and ta‘awuz, announced with gratitude to Allah that Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Germany is conducting its second ijtema after overcoming the obstacles imposed by the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hazrat Amirul Momineenaa mentioned that Sadr Sahib Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya had expressed his heartfelt desire for Huzooraa to convey a special message to the German khuddam.

Huzooraa said that members of the Germany Jamaat, by the grace of Allah, hold a level of sincerity and loyalty. Huzooraa said, “May this spirit of sincerity and loyalty always remain.”

Huzooraa stated that, by the grace of Allah, the members of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya Germany have a profound bond of loyalty with Khilafat. Huzooraa further mentioned that when German khuddam come to visit him, he observes a special connection they possess with Khilafat. Huzooraa prayed, “May Allah the Almighty, as I have expressed earlier, continue to strengthen and enhance this relationship.”

Regarding the purpose of ijtemas, Huzooraa emphasised the importance of understanding that they serve as platforms to enrich one’s religious knowledge and promote moral and spiritual growth. The purpose of ijtemas should not be limited to mere participation in sports or organising routine programmes. Huzooraa stated, “The primary goal of ijtemas is to ensure that our youth and children achieve moral, intellectual, and spiritual development.” Huzooraa further emphasised that by keeping this objective in mind, individuals will be able to fulfil the purpose of their pledge effectively.

In accordance with the mission of the Promised Messiahas, who was sent as the most-ardent devotee of the Holy Prophetsa to revive the authentic teachings of Islam, Huzooraa conveyed, “The true understanding of the Noble Quran in this era is elucidated for us by the Promised Messiahas.”

Therefore, it is essential to consistently remind ourselves that fulfilling our pledge with the Promised Messiahas goes beyond mere acknowledgement. “We must wholeheartedly execute it with unwavering loyalty and devotion, thereby positioning ourselves as active participants in the noble endeavours undertaken by the Promised Messiahas. Huzooraa emphasised, “If we fail to do so, there will be no distinction between us [Ahmadis] and others.”

Huzooraa conveyed that, according to the Promised Messiahas, Allah Almighty desires a noticeable distinction between us and others. Huzooraa further emphasised, “Therefore, every Ahmadi youth, every Ahmadi child who has reached a mature age, and indeed, every Ahmadi [in general], should bear in mind that there must exist a distinction between us and others. And what exactly is this distinction? It is the pursuit of attaining the pleasure of God Almighty.”

Huzooraa expressed that every single action we undertake should be driven by the objective of seeking God’s pleasure. We must exert maximum effort towards achieving this goal. On several occasions, the Promised Messiahas has imparted valuable advice to the Jamaat, urging them to attentively heed his counsel in order to fulfil the true purpose of their pledge.

Highlighting the significance of unity and harmony within the Jamaat, Huzooraa underscored the advice of the Promised Messiahas, who emphasised the importance of fostering a spirit of unity and harmony among its members. Huzooraa further emphasised, “It is the atmosphere of love and affection [towards one another] that truly defines the essence of a Jamaat.”

Huzooraa highlighted that the Promised Messiahas stated that his mission revolves around two principles. Firstly, to call towards Tawhid [the Unity of Allah]; secondly, to promote love and compassion.

Huzooraa emphasised that it is crucial for every member of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya and Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya to unite and worship Allah the Almighty in order to establish the concept of Tawhid. Huzooraa further highlighted that one effective way to achieve this is through congregational salat. Huzooraa emphasised the need for individuals to wholeheartedly strive in this regard and set an example by personally offering prayers in congregation.

Referring to the time when Covid-19 was widespread, Huzooraa mentioned that people resorted to offering prayers at home. However, Huzooraa expressed concern that a misconception may have arisen, suggesting that praying at home alone is sufficient. Huzooraa clarified that this practice of individual prayer at home does not foster unity. Huzooraa emphasised the importance of following the commandment of Allah to attend the mosque for congregational prayers.

Recognising the challenges of the present era, Huzooraa conveyed that negative influences are spreading. To counteract these negative forces, it becomes imperative for us to strengthen our bond with Allah. In order to accomplish this, one must diligently prioritise and fulfil their prayers, offering them punctually. In prayer, one should strive to attain His pleasure.

Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa said that the Promised Messiahas advised not to make worldly pursuits one’s sole objective. Huzooraa further said that he had highlighted in his recent sermons how one can truly fulfil the rights of worship towards Allah, attain elevated morals, and effect a genuine positive change within oneself. Huzooraa emphasised the crucial point that if the underlying objective of one’s commitment is centred on religion and seeking Allah’s pleasure, then we can undoubtedly accomplish the true purpose of our pledge.

Huzooraa said that the Promised Messiahas emphasised the importance of not becoming excessively absorbed in worldly matters to the extent that one forgets about God and neglects their responsibilities towards fellow human beings.

Furthermore, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih Vaa said, the Promised Messiahas has directed our attention towards the importance of giving special consideration to the recitation of the Holy Quran. It is not only essential for every khadim and tifl to recite the Holy Quran, but they should also strive to understand its meaning, study its translation, and read its commentary. Huzooraa emphasised that the best method by which this can be done is through studying the writings, books, and the Malfuzat of the Promised Messiah. Huzooraa highlighted that a wealth of Jamaati literature is now available in the German language as well, and he encouraged everyone to read and comprehend it. By doing so, Huzooraa explained, one can truly grasp the profound meanings of the Holy Quran.

Huzooraa expounded on the essence of true bai‘at by emphasising that it can only be deemed genuine when every action and deed is undertaken to seek the pleasure of God while fulfilling the rights owed to Him and His creation. Huzooraa further emphasised that without personal reform, there can be no assurance for the betterment of future generations.

Drawing attention to the influence of media – including social media and television – that can divert individuals away from religion and Allah, Huzooraa emphasised the potential negative impact on one’s moral values. Consequently, Huzooraa stressed the importance of refraining from engaging in the vices linked to such things. Huzooraa further highlighted the guidance of the Promised Messiahas, who emphasised the need to safeguard oneself from the company of those with negative influences. To achieve this, Huzooraa advised the youth to pray to Allah for protection from bad company.

Huzooraa added that there are khuddam parents who have young children. Huzooraa advised them to create a friendly and nurturing environment for their children, teaching them about religious matters. Huzooraa emphasised the importance of steering them away from evil influences and protecting them from harm. By doing so, parents can safeguard their offspring, fulfil their pledge of bai’at, uphold their commitment to Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya, and demonstrate loyalty to Khilafat.

Huzooraa explained that when individuals become overly absorbed in worldly matters and attractions, they tend to forget the true purpose of their pledge. Mentioning the blessings of Allah on Ahmadis, Huzooraa stated that it is essential to express gratitude for these blessings, to follow Allah’s commandments and teachings, and to consistently strive to attain His pleasure. Huzooraa concluded by expressing the hope that Allah enables everyone to fulfil these objectives.
